A 5-day event on March 21-26th, in Somerset, UK run by Primal Gathering and 42 Acres. The retreat will bring people together to inoculate mushrooms, plant nutrient-dense sea buckthorn, learn about beekeeping, natural materials and pigments, and forage to create their own concoctions.
Inspired by Primal Gatherings regenerative events in Portugal over the last 4 years, Medicine Festival called to support their collective dream of spreading a regenerative, hyper-local gathering model to other corners of the world, starting here in the UK. A perfect match and partner as Medicine will expand our land-based offerings at this year's Medicine Festival getting our hands firmly in the soil together with the support of Primal Gathering.
This edition will embody the folklore, druidry, mystique of the British Isles, with wisdom carriers of these lands such as Chris Park, Bruce Parry, Carolyn Hillier, Tasha Stevens-Vallecillo, Jemma Foster, Paul Pauseland, and Sam Lee who are deeply entrenched in the regeneration movement in the UK.

We have a range of comfortable rooms to suit a variety of budgets. Every room has beautiful views over either our woodland or estate with snug beds for peaceful sleeping. There are reading lights, woollen blankets and space to store your belongings.
Our bathrooms are modern with responsibly sourced toiletries and soft towels. Plus all our buildings are eco-powered and we have boot rooms for your wellies and coats.
For this experience there are also options for camping and live-in vehicles.

Primal Gathering is an environmentally, socially, and psychologically regenerative culture design consultancy with a mission to restore people, forests, and ecosystems all over the world. We hold educational in-person gatherings where people learn various restorative practices, such as mindfulness and communication skills, to integrate into their day-to-day lives whilst regenerating and reforesting land. Each gathering is guided by the needs of the local landowners. Primal also works with organisations to build cultures of care that foster empathy as a way of working, as they believe empathy is a catalyst towards climate action and a happier and fulfilled workforce. Our mission is to leave both people and places better than how we find them.
