Come and spend a day in our stunning woodland. Learn how to grow medicinal and edible mushrooms on logs and help us on our mushroom farm at the same time!

This ancient technique of mushroom growing began 2,000 years ago in China. It’s the most nutrient dense, sustainable method there is for mushroom production and the most enjoyable skill to learn.

This working exchange retreat is an opportunity for meditation and sharing, nature connection, learning and applying the skills you have learnt. A great skill to have for any fungi lover!

Important info to note for our working retreats

• Wellies or good boots are necessary
• Please bring a packed lunch as log inoculation is hungry work!
• Please bring your favourite outdoor mug for tea/coffee so we can avoid using disposables.
• Foraged teas and fire-side snacks will be provided.
• If you're not able-bodied or have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up, we will do our best to accommodate you if we can.
• These are working retreats so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly. We kindly invite you to come for the whole day to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.
