Wild Weekends are life-affirming retreats birthed from this land and our team. They invite disconnection from technology and everyday pressures, and reconnection with something much more profound.
Wild Weekends offer beautiful, wild surroundings; quietly-luxurious accommodation; deeply nourishing vegetarian meals; and lovingly-held experiences designed to support you to consciously slow down and rediscover your place in the interconnectedness of all things.
Our vision is to reconnect with nature, self and others. These weekends are our vision made real. They will stay with you long after you leave this land.
Wintering Well
The theme for this Wild Weekend is Wintering Well. Here is an invitation to life-affirming connection & gentle transformation as we weave inner and outer work, nurture our resilience, and explore ancient plant wisdom. We’ll journey through the inner landscape of wintering while exploring the outer landscape through foraging seasonal plants, learning traditional folk medicine-making techniques, and crafting our own natural remedies to take home. (These make beautiful thoughtful gifts for the upcoming festive season). Leave feeling grounded, nourished, & reconnected to all that is.
We will walk the land and learn how to safely identify, harvest, store, and process seasonal wild ingredients. You’ll create a mini apothecary of potent folk medicines to take home – a winter gift to yourself and those you love. Learn to make:
- Medicinal berry tonics (both elderberry and rosehip)
- Our much-loved ‘hug in a mug’ medicinal mushroom chai syrup
- A potent spruce salve
