Emerging Earth is an intentional gathering – a meeting point between a festival and a retreat. Here is an invitation to gather in a held container of sacred space and become part of a living community of spiritual practice and inquiry. Core To The Container:
We will do everything we can to hold our sacred container open and accessible for those who are neuro-divergent or have physical access needs that require additional support or care. Please do get in touch with us directly to discuss any access needs you may have to the site to see how we can understand and navigate any challenges together.
We would like to make sure that anyone from the LGBTQ + community, BIPOC community and other minority communities feel especially welcomed to join Emerging Earth. We recognise rural events can be a barrier for certain communities and we would like to extend a warm welcome.
Community Contribution Request:
We kindly ask everyone who can to, to contribute a minimum of 2 hrs to support the kitchen, site amenities and general care taking.
We aim to create a space of mutual thriving where the team holding the event are supported by attendees, and we invite all those onsite to take a responsible role in taking care of one another, the site and the spaces.
Children:
As this year’s gathering takes place during the week and within term time, there will be no dedicated children’s programme. However, families are very welcome, and the site itself offers an incredible environment for children to explore, relax, and enjoy the experience alongside the wider event atmosphere.
Children under 12 are free, with a maximum of two children per paying adult. To add children (under 12) to your booking, please contact our bookings team on 01373 887642 or email hello@42acres.com. If you purchase a residential ticket, children must be accommodated within your booked room allocation. Please note that we are unable to accommodate children without prior arrangement.
We cannot be responsible for children. Although we will encourage a co-caring approach from the whole, we ask parents to be responsible for their children at all times.
