A deep, restorative, inward yoga class tapping into the more subtle aspects of our bodies, mind and emotions.
Yin Yoga is essential for our yang practices, as a collective we operate from a very yang space. We will be tuning into the more yin aspects of our being, the more subtle aspects. We will move into a place of yield and surrender. To meet our edges and soften here.
In Yin Yoga we will target our connective tissues and fascia (which governs the muscles range of movement) our ligaments, tendons, joints and even bones. The practice is on the floor and we will hold the postures from anywhere between 2-6 minutes. Why so long? Time is the magic ingredient to this practice – time allows us to sink into our deeper tissues.
Expect to leave feeling open, restored and deeply relaxed.
This session is suitable for all abilities. You will leave with tools and guidance to take home with you.
The experience is exclusive and complimentary to guests staying with us on a Self-Guided Retreat Package. There is no need to book. The teacher will meet you in the group room at the Hermitage. Please arrive 5 minutes before class to prevent a delayed start time.
